Waste brush pile to smolder for several days after fire
(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Mason City Fire Department said a large waste brush pile is expected to smolder for a few days after the fire was found on Wednesday.
Firefighters found the fire at the 1300 block of Elm Drive in Mason City on Wednesday night.
The large waste brush pile is used by the city.
The fire was mostly controlled, but the fire will continue to smolder for the next several days and smoke may be visible in the area.
The fire is under investigation.
