A bit of a slide

Temperatures will slip towards the weekend. Natively we’ll have a cooler airmass coming in. But we’ll especially watch the overnights with a light wind in place. A clear sky should allow the temps to bottom out in a favorable environment. Sub-zero readings are possible Saturday morning, but it may not be for everyone.

For the season, we’ve been to sub-zero territory on 10 different days. They all happened to be consecutive from December 18th to December 27th. That 10 day consecutive stretch is impressive. It’s only happened three times since the year 2000.
