A stray shower at best
Rain prospects are looking slim over the next week. Large systems avoid the area until at minimum the end of next week. We’re watching subtle feature up until that point for the most meager of rain opportunities.
One of those subtle features will be a wave slipping through the atmosphere on Thursday. It’ll have to fight a dry pocket of air centered over us while the heart of that wave slips over western Minnesota. It’ll be a glancing blow of a stray shower here and there during the morning/afternoon portion of the day.
Should you even see this shower, it won’t provide much to show for it. Clouds should hang over the day and be more of the talking point than any rain will be. Temps will be in the low to mid 50s.
