A windy, cold Thursday on the way

As a storm system departs to the east and the snow leaves with it, winds will begin to crank out of the northwest through the day Thursday. While temperatures will reach above freezing, strong winds with wind gusts up to 45 mph will make it feel like we’re in the teens to lower 20s through much of the day.

Beginning Thursday evening, winds will begin to relax and we’re in for a chilly but more tranquil Friday.
