Bitter Cold Is Back For Friday

We are going to feel the bitter cold as we are waking up Friday morning behind Thursday’s cold front. Overnight lows will plummet to the teens below-zero under a mostly clear sky. Even though the wind will be easing up during this time, our wind chills will drop to the -20° to -30° range, possibly colder for some by sunrise on Friday. Bitter cold air like this has prompted another ALERT DAY status for Friday, as our high temps struggle as well, reaching only the single digits Friday afternoon.
