Breeze helps temps soar

A breezy south/southwest wind will gust to 30-35 mph on Thursday. That wind in the setup at hand typically helps maximize our temperature potential. We’ll see that transpire. But there’s also a hazy sky to consider from wildfire smoke. That works against the temperatures. We’ll settle in the mid 80s for highs on Thursday as a result. That’s still running about 10° above average. It’s also going to be just as humid as it has been in recent days.
