Wintry Mix Wraps Up, Clouds Hold Today
As expected, the impacts from Tuesday night’s light wintry mix will be minimal on this Wednesday morning. Watch out though for a few icy spots for the morning commute, not just on the roads, but the parking lots & sidewalks as well. Conditions improve with temperatures back in the middle to upper 30s this afternoon, under a partly sunny sky.
Clouds stay put for the most part for the remainder of the week, and heading into the weekend. Highs in the middle to upper 30s will be the “norm” as well through the weekend. More sunshine is expected by Sunday, allowing highs to near 40° once again.
Overall, we are trending quiet for the rest of the week, with that large-scale storm Thursday-Friday, just skirting by to our S/SE. A few flurries/areas of drizzle will be possible late Saturday night, not amounting to much, if anything significant.
Our next decent rain/snow chance is holding off until early next week, Monday & Tuesday, as another larger storm system is trying to move into the region. Expect plenty to change in regards to the track of this storm over time, but it is one worth watching the forecast for closely.
