Clouds, fog, pockets of light precipitation through Thursday
It’s been a dreary beginning of the week around the ABC 6 Weather First area and that is not looking to change for the time being.
Clouds and areas of fog will be around through much of the day on Wednesday. Some freezing fog is also possible in areas where temperatures are below freezing which may lead to some icy spots especially on any untreated surfaces.
Moisture will continue to move in from the south which may lead to some pockets of light freezing rain and rain, again depending on what the air temperatures are, with some icy spots possible especially where any light freezing rain accumulates. The bulk of the heavier precipitation will once again stay to the south of the local area.
Patchy areas of fog will be around Wednesday night and Thursday with additional light freezing rain and rain as temperatures hover around the low-to-mid 30s.
Finally, the moisture and fog push out by Friday, however the clouds remain with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 30s.
