Cloudy, foggy and soggy Friday
Friday is a rinse and repeat of the last few days with clouds, areas of fog and some light precipitation.
A system will continue to track east through Iowa spreading rain into southeast Minnesota and northern Iowa through the morning into the afternoon. The rain will generally stay near and south of I-90 with some patchy drizzle further north.
Temperatures will stay just a hair above the freezing mark (32°), however can’t rule out some wet snowflakes mixing it at times. Precipitation will gradually exit the area to the east by mid-to-late afternoon.
Fog will be locally dense at times, but should become patchier into the afternoon. Clouds will remain thick overhead.
High temperatures are expected to be in the mid-30s areawide.
