Cold Safety Tips

Make sure to have plenty of gear for going outdoors for extended periods, but ideally limit time outdoors. Exposed skin should be covered, as frostbite can take place as early as 20-30 minutes with wind chills being as cold as they will be (-25°F to -30°F) the next couple mornings. As for commuting, roads are mostly in good shape (especially main roads and highways). Just be mindful if you live out in rural communities or have to drive over bridges and overpasses as there are a few icy spots out that will stick around with temperatures being as cold as they are going to be. We will get warmer as the week goes on.
