Colder air settles in after Saturday’s winter storm system

We’re in for snow Saturday, then colder air will follow that wave of low pressure. Temperatures will drop below average on Sunday with highs in the teens. Daytime highs and overnight lows will remain colder than average through the entirety of next week.

The polar jet stream will be settling to our south through next week, making way for colder Canadian and arctic air to move into the upper Midwest.
