Colder air settles in heading toward weekend
Colder Canadian air is on the move and will settle into the area on Friday reminding us that it is still winter after all.
A cold front will slide through the area on Thursday afternoon with colder air gradually filtering into the area with high temperatures on Friday around 15° to 20° colder than the 50s expected on Thursday.
High temperatures on Friday will only manage the upper 30s to around 40° which is still above average. A few flurries will also be possible as the colder air builds in.
Highs will generally remain the 30s throughout next week with night lows in the 20s. Even colder air looks to arrive by next weekend with highs not getting out of the 20s which would be closer to average.
A few weak systems may bring rain and snow chances to the area over the next 7 to 10 days, however there is still a lot uncertainty on the track and evolution of each at this point. Details will get ironed out as the week moves along.
