Heaviest Misses North Today
The Weather First Team is tracking three opportunities for snow this week, with the first one wrapping up early this morning. The “heaviest” snow with Monday’s chance will stay north of the area, from the Twin Cities on-ward, leaving us with just a dusting/very minor totals area-wide.
Look for pockets of drizzle/flurries for the area, heading into the mid-day hours. Road conditions will be slick at times, mainly north of I-90 for the Monday morning commute. Conditions will be improving the rest of the day.
We will get a break from the action Monday afternoon – Tuesday, before our next two opportunities for snow move in Wednesday, then again Thursday into Friday. Specific details on these chances are still a little up in the air, however each, especially the third, Thursday into Friday, looking to bring accumulating snow, and possible travel impacts with them.
