Dense fog and drizzle into Friday, cloud cover will remain stubborn
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect for tonight until 10am Friday morning. Visibility will drop to a quarter mile or less for much of Thursday night.
January’s warm trend will continue, and with the increase in temperature comes more moisture. Thanks to that combo, dense fog will be widespread tonight through Friday morning. Once fog lifts, clouds will stick around well beyond Friday morning.
Aside from low visibility going into the end of the week, temperatures will remain well above the norm for late January. Even milder air will move into the region late next week, bringing highs into the mid-40s for the first week of February. Clouds, fog, and unusual warm weather aside, there isn’t any other drama on our weather plate. No significant storm systems are on the horizon at this time.
