Drought conditions continue to expand

The weekly update of the U.S. Drought Monitor came out today. Not surprisingly, drought conditions continue to expand and intensify.

The percentage of Iowa without abnormally dry or drought conditions is only about 2.5%, and in Minnesota that number is now only 2.9%.
