Drought monitor update – 11/14/24

With this week’s U.S. Drought Monitor update, there’s been little change in drought conditions across Minnesota and Iowa. There has been some minor relief in Minnesota, while conditions remain unchanged in Iowa.

Recent rainfall has, of course, not hurt, but amounts of been very light in the past week and not enough to put much of a dent in the drought.

More substantive precipitation looks to be on the way next week.
