Earliest Tornadoes In Minnesota

March 6 marks the anniversary of the earliest tornadoes in Minnesota history! There were three in total on this day in 2017, one in Bricelyn, one in Clarks Grove, and one in Zimmerman. At the end of the day, all were rated as EF-1’s, with a max wind of 90, 110, & 110 mph respectively. Thankfully there were no major injuries, with any of them, as they occurred well before our typical severe weather season later in April, May, June, & July.
