Extreme Cold Safety Tips

We have experienced much colder air than we will for next week, but this is just a reminder to stay safe & warm with the cold air on the way. Wind chills in the -20 to -30 range will be common, especially Sunday – Tuesday mornings, possibly even colder at times during these next few days. It is very important to bundle up, & cover up any exposed skin, as frostbite can occur in 30 minutes with a wind chill of -20. Be sure to limit time outside, not just for you, but your furry friends as well. And if you have to be out in the elements, perhaps your work takes you outdoor, warm-up as often as you can!
