Frigid Friday
Arctic air spilling into the region will lead to dangerously cold wind chills by Friday morning. A **WIND CHILL ADVISORY** is in effect for the entire viewing area through Friday morning along with an ALERT DAY as wind chills are expected to be in the -25° to -35° range thanks to a brisk northwest wind gusting at times up to 30 mph. Bundle up when heading to work Friday morning and make sure the kids are dressed warm and in layers.
Friday we’ll see a partly sunny sky with high temperatures in the single digits above-zero. Wind chills will be in the -10° to -20° range throughout the day. The wind will ease as high pressure moves overhead.
