Fz. Rain/Mix = Ice Early Tuesday

Freezing rain will be problematic throughout the area, especially close to the I-35 corridor, where upwards of 1/4″ to 1/2″ of ice will be possible! A NE breeze with gusts around 25-30 mph will cause more issues with the ice, as this may lead to power outages throughout our area. Just a reminder, NEVER go near a down line, even if it appears to be without power. The wintry mix/freezing rain/ice potential will gradually switch to snow later Tuesday evening.
