Gradual warmup coming next week

The weather pattern will undergo some change next week as much warmer than average temperatures are expected as we flip the calendar page to February.

The polar jet stream will amplify further north into Canada allowing mild Pacific air to build into the central part of the country sending temperatures well above average.

There is still some uncertainty just how warm it may get, but high temperatures are expected to be well into the 40s starting on Tuesday and lasting through the week. Night lows will also be mild in the 20s and 30s.
