Gusty Winds During Snow Storms

On top of the heavy snowfall that is anticipated, we are also looking at some gusty winds during the snow. This will create blowing snow and result in very limited visibility. Another thing to keep in mind is that the majority of the snow that will be on the ground will be fresh, loose snow. Thus, it will be much easier for this snow to blow around and contribute to the limited visibility. Winds finally calm down heading into Friday, but temperatures are also much colder to start Friday morning this coming week.
