Hanging in the clouds
We have a steady stream of clouds expected from now through the weekend. But we’ll avoid major disturbances the next few days.
One we are watching slips by off our southeastern edge on Friday. This one will be impactful for southeastern Iowa with snow. Our next opportunity will come on Sunday. A few light snow showers extend into Monday. It’s Sunday’s chance that looks like it could make things a bit slippery. We’ll likely be dabbling with the wintry mix component too. More details will come out on this in the next couple of days.
Temperatures are hanging out near normal for highs for the time being but will warm a bit for Sunday/Monday. Clouds should keep the cycle from day to night to a minimum but we should cross the freezing line on most of them.
