Heat Index skyrockets next week

We will be getting much more humid to start next week. Combine this with a warm front that will pass through late Saturday into early Sunday, and it will allow us to have some of our warmest days so far in 2024. Father’s Day is trending around 90°, and this continues on Monday and Tuesday. If these temperatures end up holding for Sunday through Tuesday, we could see a heat index get issued soon.
