Light snow and possible mix

Light snowfall is possible early on Tuesday. Communities with the best chance to get this snow would be in northern Iowa east of I-35. Snowfall totals are trending under an inch for now, but there could be some changes if there is a shift in tracking.

In addition, we could also see a rain/snow mix late Wednesday into Thursday morning. It will be a close call on if it’s rain or snow, but we are looking at mostly rain should everything hold as it stands.

With winds expected to be lighter by the time snow arrives, blowing snow is not expected to be a concern.
