Mild, breezy and quiet Wednesday

Wednesday will be another mild and quiet day with a bit of a breeze making for a fairly nice early March day.

High pressure over the Great Lakes will keep the area dry and quiet throughout the day. Some high-to-mid-level clouds will build in throughout the day leading to some filtered sunshine at times.

Temperatures will climb into the low-to-mid 50s for highs which is between 15° and 20° above average.

The wind will increase a bit throughout the day with gusts near 20 mph at times.

The combination of a gusty wind, dry air and vegetation, and warmer temperatures will lead to some fire weather concerns as anyone looking to burn outdoors should use extra caution to make sure fires don’t get out of control.
