Mild weather returning soon

By January standards, we will become more mild heading into next week. We do have a little bit of colder weather to get through still.

Air temperatures will be sub-zero for the final time in the upcoming forecast overnight into Sunday morning. A southerly breeze will strengthen throughout the day Sunday, bringing in warmer air that we have not experienced for the past week.

We still have a couple opportunities for snow next week. Early on Tuesday, we could see some light snowfall. We could also have a rain/snow mix late Wednesday through Thursday.

The southerly breeze that will warm us up on Sunday will continue to allow us to warm up into Monday. We will be hanging around in the low to mid-30s for most of next week.
