Mild winter weather to last into next week
Milder than average temperatures will continue to be theme in the weather world heading into next week.
Some colder air from Canada will drift down into the region on Friday leading to a chillier day than we’ve experienced lately. High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30s to around 40° which is still well above average for early February.
The temperatures bounce back heading into the weekend with highs returning to the mid-40s which will be around 20° or more above average. Overnight lows will be in the upper 20s to low 30s.
The mild weather carries over into next week. High temperatures will be fairly uniform in the mid-40s all week with night lows in the 20s and 30s.
No major storms are on the horizon, however a system crossing the region on Thursday will bring a rain chance to the area, and possibly some snow on the backend as it clears the area. Several details and uncertainties remain on the overall track of the system so stay updated on future forecasts.
