More records broken on Sunday

At this point, it’s probably not that surprising to some people. Thanks to STRONG southerly winds and ample sunshine through the first half of the day, we had our warmest day of 2024 so far.

With Rochester hitting 72° for a high on Sunday, March 3 becomes the earliest day in a calendar year where we hit 70° or warmer in the Med City. The previous record was March 7, 2000. Even communities that hit 70°+ last Tuesday also hit highs for the year so far. This is the warmest we will be getting for awhile.
