Quick hitting round of snow Tuesday night
A cold front will slide through the area on Tuesday afternoon bringing the cold air as a system tracks through Tuesday evening leading to a quick hitting round of snow.
Clouds will build throughout the day as the system approaches with snow likely developing sometime after 5:00 PM before wrapping up and out of the area by around 12:00 AM.
Snow accumulations are expected to be fairly light due to the quick nature of the system and the lack of appreciable moisture.
Most areas will see around 1″ or less. Some slick spots are certainly possible with any wet roads and untreated surfaces likely becoming icy as temperatures drop into the single digits by Wednesday morning.
