Rain this Friday? Don’t get too excited

There will more than likely be a few showers moving across southern Minnesota and northern Iowa this Friday. However, due to drier air closer to the ground and an overall weaker system producing said rain, I expect totals to be very low; a trace to a few hundredths of an inch at best. If I’m wrong, that will be wonderful.
