Saturday evening provides the best chance

Some stray raindrops will be possible Friday night into Saturday morning, but the best opportunity for rain over the weekend will be Saturday evening. From 7 PM to Midnight, a cluster of showers and storms should develop feeding on some warmth build up during the day.

This activity will be the most widespread of a rain chance that we’ll see over the weekend. It’s also where the severe parameters try to organize themselves a bit. Nothing is jumping off the wall but a strong storm or two will be possible. Watch for some gusty wind or small hail with the strongest storms.

A few will pick up some decent downpours but others will miss out. Totals will range from minimal amounts to as much as 1″.
