Saturday & Sunday rain sandwich

Saturday’s rain chances come in two waves. In between, we’ll get some dry time and the temperatures should pop. A warm front will push through during the morning and bring a few showers and storms in tow.

The evening will fire off a cluster of storms after 6 PM. Feeding off the warmth and modestly muggy air, there will be the possibility of a couple stronger storms forming. While I think widespread severe weather isn’t looking likely a couple storms may produce some spotty hail and gusty wind.

Additional rain is expected on Sunday, in a similar sandwich fashion too. In the end, the two days combined should yield widespread amounts of 1-2″. Some localized higher amounts will be possible under multiple thunderstorms.
