Scattered snow showers, flurries possible Friday
Another surge of Arctic air will build into the region today and combined with some instability, will lead to the chance of some scattered light snow showers or flurries. Very little to no accumulations are expected.
Otherwise, it’ll be a mainly cloudy and cold day with high temperatures in the single digits above-zero. Wind chills will be in the teens below-zero throughout the day.
The colder air will once again establish itself tonight as temperatures drop into the upper single digits to teens below-zero and with a light wind, the wind chill will drop into the range of -20° to -30°.
As a result, another WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect tonight until 9:00 AM Saturday.
