Select slippery spots overnight

The overall scenario has seen a couple spokes of energy split our area both north and south. Each direction has a decent pop of snow. Just not for us. Any snow seen is minor in a warm situation which will tend to melt it. At this point, I don’t expect accumulation. If anything is seen it will be minor.

So we’ll be watching the temperature, plunging on strong wind. Standing water will tend to freeze up on untreated surfaces. This may induce a few slippery spots on the overnight drive but should not produce widespread lasting impacts.

Do note, western Minnesota is a mess right now with widespread blowing/drifting snow. Travel is not advised in the western reaches of the state and numerous roads are closed.
