Spring-like warmth returns with above average temperatures this week
Temperatures will return to early spring-like levels this week as mild Pacific air will once again find its way into the area.
High temperatures will go from the low 40s on Monday to the mid 40s on Tuesday to near or in the low 50s on Wednesday.
A cold front and Canadian high pressure will drift south through the area Thursday leading to a cool down as highs will get back into the 40s on Thursday and 30s on Friday. Despite the colder temperatures, highs will still be well above average.
The cool spell will be short-lived as another warm surge arrives through the weekend with highs back in the 40s on Saturday and 50s on Sunday which will carry over into next week.
The Climate Prediction Center has a high probability of above average temperatures heading into March.
