Stay Alert Thursday & Friday
Thursday afternoon through Friday morning, we have snow on the way. There is heavy snowfall potential and blowing snow is expected. Anywhere from 6-10″ for snowfall is expected, with the best chances for the highest accumulations being by Highway-52 and Highway-63 and south of those two highways. Winds are expected to gust as high as 30 MPH, which will create blowing snow. It’s also going to be blowing the most as the snowfall is taking place. If you need to travel during this timeframe, you will absolutely need extra time. One thing that will keep impacts from being worse is with how warm we will be, ice will not be a major concern. That being said, still expect slick spots.
