Sunday Night Storms, Monday Showers

Thunderstorms are expected for some communities Sunday night. Despite a marginal risk for severe weather, it is not expected. A lack of moisture is the big reason why. They will be mostly (if not all the way out by midnight heading into Monday morning).

We’re not done with the rain there though!! A cold front will come through, and light showers will be present behind the cold front. Rainfall totals will be light, under half an inch expected. It won’t turn around our drought in one full swoop, but it will shift things a little given how dry we have been.
