Sunny skies continue, mild weather returning

The rest of Saturday will remain a little chilly. It will not be anywhere near as cold as Saturday morning or Friday evening, but gusty winds will ensure that the wind chill does not surpass 20° locally. Winds ease up during the overnight and are lighter on Sunday. Air temperatures are in the mid to upper-30s on Sunday. A few low-40s are also forecasted in northern Iowa.

Heading into next week, temperatures get even warmer. We have already had three 50° days in Rochester in February 2024. Wednesday next week is expected to add to that total, and a few other days feature some mid to upper-40s. We will cool back off into next week.

Rain and snow chances are still nothing for the next week.
