Overall, we are going to be missing out on the higher end totals for the snowfall potential on Thursday. The better opportunity for 4″ or more will be greatest along a line from Des Moines, IA to La Crosse, WI. Locally, we won’t miss out on the snow completely, as a few flurries will remain possible throughout the Weather First viewing area. The better opportunity will be early in the day, before the noon hour. Wind will be breezy out of the NW, blowing any falling snow around, leading to the potential for lower visibility and a few slick spots at times.
