Tracking Our Snow This Week
We will get a minor brush with winter on Wednesday, as a weak Clipper brings in a minor snow chance to the area. A new 1-2″ will be likely, mainly along our I-35 communities, with lower amounts expected to the east. The bigger story comes by the end of the week, with a more robust storm system bringing in our next opportunity at seeing heavy snow & a stronger wind component. It is a little too early to talk specific details on exactly how much snow we see, however, at this point, even early in the forecast, up to 6″, possibly more, looks reasonable with this system. Keep in mind though, the track & therefore totals can and will likely change by the end of the week. Just be ready for the potential for “plowable” snow to return Thursday-Friday.
