Traveling After Christmas

Directly after dinner, we still have snow falling. The snowfall is out of the area by daybreak Monday morning. No blowing snow is expected with very light winds. However, the combination of the cold temperatures of the past few days with cars driving over the new snow that will get packed into the ground will make it to where more icy spots will develop. The visibility will be limited while the snow is in the area, but will be much better after exiting. Plan on extra time, but you will be able to drive as long as you are careful. Conditions improve more as we warm up and salt becomes more useful again.
