Trending Dry For A While

The forecast was a pretty soggy one starting out this spring, and has really dried up lately. In fact, our last measurable rainfall was on May 14, when 0.88″ officially fell. Even with an 11 day dry spell, we are still 1.20″ above-normal for the month, and nearly 5″ above-normal for the year-to-date total. Rain will hold off until the middle & end of next week, once the blocking pattern in the atmosphere finally breaks down.
