Two windows for rain Wednesday into the overnight

It’s looking like there will be two windows for rain on Wednesday into Wednesday night. In between, there’s a break to allow the temps to warm up.

Early on, in the hours surrounding sunrise, a few widely scattered showers are possible. Even a rumble of thunder will try to work in. But generally, this activity will be thought of as spotty in nature.

The best opportunity for rain will be later into the evening and overnight. From 5 PM and on, we’ll see a few bubbling showers and storms with the greatest focus of coverage surrounding a cold front as it moves through. This will be the best opportunity to pick up rainfall.

Amounts will generally be 1/4″ or less. Some may miss out completely. But there’s also a couple streaks that could exceed this range.

Severe weather is a non-issue at this point.
