Up and down temperature swings in the days ahead
The rest of the week will feature some up and down temperature swings, but nothing significant is expected as temperatures will largely remain above average
High temperatures on Tuesday will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s with 50s expected area wide on Wednesday.
Cooler weather will arrive beginning on Thursday behind a cold front as high temperatures will climb into the 40s and then 30s are expected on Friday as chilly Canadian air arrives on the heels of high pressure which will lead to a sunny and quiet weekend ahead.
The cool spell will be brief as the wind switches to the southwest on Saturday giving temperatures a boost into the 40s and then 50s on Sunday.
Mild Pacific air surges in at the beginning of next week as high temperatures push near-record territory into the upper 50s and low 60s. The mild weather will stay through the middle of the week before a storm system brings precipitation chances to the area followed by much colder temperatures for the week’s second half.
Full details of the track and timing of the storm will be ironed out as it gets closer.
