Very mild start to January continues

We’re in a mild stretch of January. Three days have come in with below normal temperatures. The other 10 have been above normal. For the month so far, January is coming in with a daily temperature 6.6° higher than average. If the month were to end today, we’d be in the top 10 for warmest Januarys on record.

The trend continues to be mild over the next seven days. This should help solidify January 2023 as a mild one in the record book.
