Virga spotted near Blooming Prairie

To some people, it may look like a funnel cloud, but that is not the case in this photo. This is virga.

Virga is where rain evaporates as it is falling from the sky. When there is moist air higher up in the atmosphere (where the thunderstorms are) and the air closer to the surface is much drier, virga is more likely to take place.
