Clipper to bring snow to Minnesota and Iowa Thursday
Another fast-moving system will move through the region Thursday, bringing a minor accumulation of snow. Most of us in southern Minnesota are looking at a coating up to an inch of snow with some isolated locations hitting an 1.5-2″. Norther Iowa is looking at 1-2″ of snow with an isolated location or two reaching 2.5-3″ of snow, especially southern portions of Hancock, Cerro Gordo, and Floyd counties. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued by the National Weather Service for Worth, Winnebago, Hancock, and Cerro Gordo counties due to the potential of some 3″ totals in addition to very cold temperatures. This will be the drier, fluffy, more easy to shovel snow. Or, if you really want to annoy your neighbors, a power blower might do the trick.
