Good news in this week’s drought monitor update

The U.S. Drought Monitor was updated on Thursday, and there’s been a big dent in drought conditions across southeast Minnesota and north Iowa. The large area under ‘Extreme Drought’ has become much smaller, and parts of Minnesota are no longer even considered ‘Abnormally Dry’. Even better news: more soaking rain is on the way for Friday and Sunday.
