More arctic air has arrived, bitter cold through Saturday
In the wake of Thursday evening’s clipper, more cold air is on the way to wrap up the week. Some are under a Winter Weather Advisory tonight into Friday morning, and all of us in southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa are in a Wind Chill Advisory until Noon Friday. Temperatures will remain in the single digits through Saturday, and wind chills Thursday night through Friday morning will be around -20 to -25°. Temperatures will dip into the teens below zero Saturday morning and we stay frigid through Saturday. There is some moderation Sunday with high temperatures back up to around 20°… above zero.
